Our Soya Mince & Spaghetti was prepared with our Pride of India Mild & Spicy Curry Powder and HomeStyle Soya Mince. Ideal for a meat-free, plant-based or vegan diet.
Serves 4.
Notes:
Substitute meat, chicken or seafood with our HomeStyle Soya for your breyanis, curries, cottage pies, stir fries, lasagne, pastas, etc.
Ingredients
1 cup HomeStyle Soya Mince
3 tsp Pride of India Mild & Spicy Curry Powder
250g spaghetti
3 tbsp oil
1 onion, finely sliced
1 tomato, grated/blended
fresh mint leaves, for garnishing
salt
water
Method
Soak HomeStyle Soya Mince in boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain & set aside.
Heat oil in a pot. Sauté onion until golden brown.
Add Pride of India Mild & Spicy Curry Powder and fry for approximately 1 minute. Add a little water, if necessary.
Add tomato and cook until soft.
Add the HomeStyle Soya Mince, ¼ cup water, salt to taste and cook for approximately 20 minutes.
Cook until the water has reduced and you achieved your desired consistency.
Boil spaghetti in water with salt to taste. Cook until al dente. Drain well.
Plate your mince & spaghetti, garnish with mint, serve and enjoy.
