Our Savoury Fried Rice was prepared with: Pride of India Rice Spice, Pride of India Thyme and Pride of India Rosemary. This rice dish is full of rich flavours with aromatic spices.
Serves 4 to 6.
Notes:
Add your favourite choice of protein, if desired.
Ingredients
4 cups of vegetables of your choice, cleaned and cut into pieces
2 cups of rice
3 tsp Pride of India Rice Spice
½ tsp Pride of India Thyme
½ tsp Pride of India Rosemary
2 tbsp oil
1 onion, finely sliced
spring onions for garnishing
salt to taste
water
Method
Bring rice to a boil. Add Pride of India Rice Spice and salt to taste. Once cooked, strain and set aside.
Heat oil in a large pan. Sauté onion until golden brown.
Add vegetables and stir fry for a few minutes, on medium heat.
Add Pride of India Thyme and Rosemary. Add salt to taste.
Add boiled rice and mix well.
Stir fry for another few minutes until vegetables are tender.
